Begin in coastal Tangier at Cap Spartel where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, and the nearby Caves of Hercules. Continue through the Rif Mountains to photogenic Chefchaouen. Trace Roman mosaics at Volubilis and the gates of Meknes, then dive into the spiritual medina of Fez on a guided visit. Follow the Atlantic to Rabat’s Hassan Tower and Mohammed V Mausoleum, explore Casablanca’s Hassan II Mosque and Corniche, and finish in Asilah’s mural-lined medina before your return to Tangier.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Tangier → Cap Spartel & Caves of Hercules → Chefchaouen
Pick-up at your hotel/port/airport. Visit Cap Spartel and the Caves of Hercules. Drive through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen. Check-in and free time.
Day 2: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fez
Free morning in Chefchaouen. After lunch, travel to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, continue to imperial Meknes for a short stop, then onward to Fez. Overnight in Fez.
Day 3: Fez (Guided City Tour)
Full-day guided visit: Bou Inania Madrasa, Al Quaraouiyine University & Mosque, Nejjarine Square, Royal Palace gates, tanneries, pottery quarter and the Jewish Quarter. Overnight in Fez.
Day 4: Fez → Rabat → Casablanca
Drive to Rabat for Hassan Tower and Mohammed V Mausoleum. Continue to Casablanca to visit the Hassan II Mosque, Mohammed V Square and the Corniche. Overnight in Casablanca.
Day 5: Casablanca → Asilah → Tangier (Departure)
Head north along the coast to Asilah: white-washed medina, Portuguese ramparts and contemporary murals. Continue to Tangier for drop-off at your hotel/port/airport.
